UVic Pride offers several workshops and presentations for a variety of audiences. Current workshops and presentations UVic Pride offers for the general public include:

  • anti-homoantagonism and transanatagonism panels for high and middle schools
  • acting as an ally to queer and trans people
  • creating safer classrooms for queer and trans students: allyship for educators
  • anti-oppressive practices
  • consent
  • queer & trans 101

We are also able to adjust and create workshops to meet specific educational needs. Just get in contact with us!

We also offer workshops for Collective members on a regular basis, including anti-oppression training and volunteer orientation. Recent and upcoming workshops hosted by the collective have included:

  • anti-racism and decolonization
  • non-hierarchical organizing
  • non-monogamy
  • painting
  • horror fiction writing
  • screen-printing
  • patch making
  • video game glitching (as an allegory for queer organizing)
  • make-up
  • DIY harnesses
