Want a place to hangout, study, or get to know people? Looking to attend some of our events? Or looking to access some of our resources? Well, you don’t have to be actively involved in our organizing or advocacy efforts to do so! Come on in! For info on our centre, click [link: here ].

Want more? Here are just a few of the many ways of getting involved in our advocacy efforts or organizing within the collective:

If you’re interested in decision-making processes, you can swing by our regularly scheduled collective meetings, where collective decisions are made (such as projects to take on, donations, budget approvals, policy approvals, etc). For more info on collective meetings, please click [link: here ].

You can also attend committee meetings or working groups whenever they’re scheduled! Committees are long-term groups that look after particular aspects of running the Collective, while working groups are temporary groups that are struck to work on a specific task or project. To find a list of our current committees, please click [link: here ]. To find a list of our current working groups, please click [link: here ].

You can also join Caucuses! Caucuses are semi-autonomous sub-groups within pride that organize mainly around a shared identity or shared marginalization. To see a list of our current caucuses, click [link: here ]

We always have lots of volunteer opportunities for different events, projects, and resources! To see a list of current volunteer opportunities, click [link: here ].

If you find that you’re continuously interested in one area of collective operations and/or advocacy, you may be interested in running for election to a coordinator position. Elections take place at our AGM in October and at our SAGM in March, however, we are also able to elect in-term positions at regular collective meetings. To find a list of current coordinator positions, click [link: here ]. To find our elections policy, click [link: here ] (Bylaw 5).

One of the best ways to get involved in the collective is to just come in and spend time in the space. To find our current hours, click [link: here ].
