Pride is in full rainbow as Victoria’s premier performers come out to celebrate all things sassy at the The Fruit Salad Cabaret.

July 1st
**Marcus Tipton Memorial Drag Ball Game **
July 1, 12:00pm Vic West Park
We invite you to come out to Vic West Park for a fun fiasco of boys wearing high heels and girls sporting mustaches; all while swinging the bat and throwing the ball. A true battle of the sexes – dressed to compete as Super Heros VS. Villans; sure to offer hilarity and a chance for the Victoria community to “come out” and have some fun!

Pride is about more than just laws protecting queers from discrimination.
Pride is about having the courage, strength, and awareness to challenge all forms of oppression in our daily lives, and to stand in solidarity with the diverse individuals that make up the “queer community.”

As open-minded, open-hearted Unitarian Universalists, we are moved to understand and support, to affirm the gifts of perspective and insight transgender people bring to a community.
Note: Kids’ message this Sunday. Children begin with the grown-ups in the sanctuary.
**Big Gay Dog Walk **
1:00pm – 3:00pm Dallas Road at Cook Street
The Big Gay Dog Walk is here again; giving all of our furry friend lovers the chance to parade how PROUD they are of those paws during Pride week. Starting at the end of Cook St; on Dallas Rd we are meeting for our annual mini march 1pm-3pm..and we want to see you there! (its free after all!)

Do you want to support local LGBTQ-friendly business? Then come to the fan-n-tab-b-b-u-lous Pride Business Fair and find out who’s proud in our LGBTQ business community.

July 5th
**Pink Whale Watching **
July 5, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Cost: $30
Allow the Prince of Whales to take you on a ‘3-hour tour’ of the local islands, admiring the beauty of nature around you, and getting acquainted with the local wildlife. THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT.

July 6th
July 6, 7:00pm at the Ledge
Cost: sliding scale $5 – $15
This mix-and-match of ALL GENDERS and queerientations may just help you find what your little heart desires. Thunderpants organizes and hosts; all you have to do is be there! The Ledge (1140 Government St.) Wednesday 7pm . Sliding Scale 5-15$ – proceeds will go to support Out of the Closet Renew Boutique. The Ledge is a wheelchair accessible space. Wet your whistle and fill your belly with the Ledge’s food and drink specials!

**Homospun Youth Pride Dance Party **
7pm – 12am, FREE

Youth Age 18 and Under Only, Please!
Calling all GLBT2SQQQ teens and their friends… Here’s a Pride Week event just for you! Join us in celebrating our queer community with a DJ dance party, button-making, snacks, drinks, and free bus tickets.
Please, no drugs or alcohol. Intoxicated people will be asked to leave.

The biennial international queer media arts festival of Regina hits the road with its 2011 coast to coast Canadian tour.

**Sunset Harbour Boat Cruise**
7:00pm – 10:00pm

This annual event will take you on a breathtaking tour of the Inner Harbour, and surrounding area. THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT

Gouda and the girls will be centre stage for our Pride drag show spectacular, and they have a special supporting act in the form of all-guy, all-glam, all-gorgeous, all-grinding go-go dancer Beau deJour.

12 pm, starting at the corner of Government and Pandora
Follow along and enjoy with the marching bands, floats, and a colourful display of Pride.
**Pride Festival **
1 pm, MacDonald Park
Upon arriving at Macdonald Park – festival go-ers can enjoy a beer garden hosting its very own stage, nibble on some delicious treats from one of our 100+ vendors, learn more about the local GLBTQ community at Pride House, or partake in the 50ft long obstacle course hosted in the Kids Camp.
Any person of the Victoria community – friend, ally, or LGBT Is certain to find something that they can be PROUD of taking part in!
